Modern tools are suddenly very hardcore about PIN codes, passwords and biometrics. Humans are not.

All I can say, as your support professional, is that it’s time to get serious. You don’t have to remember every password as long as you invest some time in a tool that will.

Storybook ending to the game: Saints were down by one at the bottom of the ninth. Bases were loaded after 2 outs. Final hit of the game hit the home run wall. Saints won, 13-9.

For a few minutes, I was thinking today was Thursday. I was thinking about winding my week down and what I was looking forward to on Saturday and Sunday. Then, realizing today was actually Tuesday, I have been forced to make different plans.

I’m drinking coffee too late in the day. Still? Mmm. Delicious

Unboxing takes time, but all the things are back home. It feels good. I am grateful to be back.

Best Father’s Day gift ever: I found my wallet. Intact. Or, maybe the giant remodel we just finished and we can move in tomorrow. It’s a great day.

On the other hand, Bluesky isn’t picking up every post, today. I’m wondering if syndication is limited on some level or is simply not reliable yet.

One feature I’m excited for in iOS 17 is the Journal. I realize, technically, I can use the Notes app for this. Every bit as much as I went back to Evernote from DayOne after I realized it, too, is a database with a UI. I’m still interested in using native tools as much as possible. The thing with Evernote is that I can use the native client at work (Windows), and I have found the web clipping to be my favorite, so far.

Syndication from Micro.blog to Bluesky works better than to Twitter or Mastodon in that formatting and links are preserved.

DNS changes work way better when typos are removed.
