@manton This is so frought. I see all the points of view. Even if I stay inside my own yard, I could be on someone’s security camera feed. If I stay inside my home, I’m still interacting with commercial entities who have records of all kinds of transactions. The privacy we once had is truly changed.

@timapple There is a kind of polling interval you can adjust—we set ours to 30 seconds when the default one-minute rate didn’t catch someone stealing my daughter’s bike from my back yard.

@otaviocc I think about things like this, too. For example, I have exported from Evernote to Notes.app more than once, but I can’t quit Evernote because of the cross-platform web clipping.

@otaviocc Really enjoyed Magrathea. Loved the formal garden in front of the museum and the house of the guy that kept saying Valhalla. Your island is really well organized and mine feels rustic in comparison, or more simple. Thank you for sharing!

@JohnPhilpin I agree. Sometimes bands pick up right where they left off. Sometimes it’s not similar and therefore off-putting. Not because the music is bad per se, but use of a name sets expectations
