@ronkjeffries I agree! I had curated an Instagram feed I really liked, and so when Threads offered to automatically follow those same people on Threads, it has largely been good for me

@JohnPhilpin The more things change? The options available in the developer beta look really promising

@odd And I'm thinking primarily of devices that contain batteries, where powerful adapters are relegated to the exterior to reduce heat and weight.

@odd I think there could be some small savings where the external ones no longer need to reside permanently on the power outlet

@rands In The Wounded Land, by Stephen Donaldson, it seems like the magic is in the place—the land. Similar in a way to the Grail Mythos, where the king is the land

@Archimage I'm a fan of parenthetical remarks, occasionally nested and set apart by commas, which mimic the ways I construct ideas in my head. I also like the pause in speech represented by a comma, which I feel is representative of the way I speak. Software continually advises me to use fewer commas than I would ordinarily. I'm not sure I follow any rules, probably to my own detriment.

@odd In all honesty, the American healthcare system is behind my abandonment of both therapy and medication because after a series of changes in my life I could no longer afford to continue either. The most important things that happened are that my primary relationship and my current employer don’t require me to not be ADHD. Therapy is still too expensive for me, today, though I am on a healthcare plan again where meds could be an option.

@UndamnedOne Neurodivergent here with permanent tinnitus. You gotta fight for your right

@grubz The longer I live, the more I notice I can say exactly what I intend with far fewer words than I expected. Editing is magic
