@cdevroe I definitely hear you with regard to struggling with platform choices. Over the past two years I've held on to an aging MacBook Pro while I have used Windows 10 on many, many different devices for my IT role. I work in support and being platform flexible has helped me in my career. Two weeks ago I ordered a MacBook Pro 13” for work and let me tell you, Mac OS is still a joy and is still as beautiful as ever. We are fortunate to be able to make a choice. I'm all-in on Mac OS.
@ronguest Sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing!
@ronguest Is that maybe a balsamic dressing on that Avocado Toast? Looks really delicious from here!
@JohnPhilpin Roger. Over.
@RianVDM Wow! That is a beautiful record store. Which reminds me it has been too long since I’ve been to one…
@patrickrhone Thank you for the link. Added manually to Overcast and subscribed
@jack Thank you for the reminder. Set up a network location on my MacBook with Cloudflare’s service for when I'm off my company's network
@JohnPhilpin I hate this part of healthcare where an institution's right to profit is more important than my health and my quality of life. "Sustainable business model". :: Spits in contempt ::
@herself I’m very interested in The Thorn Necklace based on your introduction. Carl Sagan wrote about the power of little black squiggles. Terrence McKenna has talked about the power of small mouth noises. Bob Dylan sang about the words of poets from a thousand years before burning like coals with heat and life. Alan Moore says that it’s the responsibility of all artists to hone their own magical craft. I think I’m going to pick up that book because that’s something that resonates with me.
@herself I love the picture! My avatar is cropped from a series of pictures my daughter took while I was apparently onblivious…
