@jemostrom On the one hand, I think iOS is amazing and the hardware is so capable, so I wonder what is taking so long. One the other, I read about app approval horror stories and severe limits on access to APIs and I’m not surprised that developers maybe aren’t excited about porting apps

@grubz That reload took longer than I hoped, but back in business on the most current release with all devices working, so far as I know.

@grubz I did a kind of mid-stream jump from Ubuntu to UbuntuStudio. There was some hilarity as I navigated the change to KDE Plasma, but there were also some consistent nags about uninstalled Snaps that wouldn’t install. So I thought I’d move to a clean install of Ubuntu Studio. And then I had no audio and no recognized audio devices. So we’re going back to straight Ubuntu to start over

@flargh And then the side-eye you get when you protest “I don’t work here”

@hjalmer.com My posts start at micro.blog where I write in Markdown format. Micro.blog allows my to syndicate to other open protocols, which is how most of my posts end up in/on Mastodon/Blusky/Nostr. The link previews are a byproduct of that—unfortunately I don’t know how to answer better than that

@viticci Thank you for sharing the Forever Notes system. I’m about ready to kill my Evernote subscription after about 15 years and transition fully to Apple Notes

@grubz It feels like construction follows me. I seem to pick places to live that kick of multiple-year projects. SO if you want new infrastructure, find me a place to live, nearby. 😉

@ner3y If I ever have the opportunity, I will be there: Kaltenberger Ritterturnier?
