Spent a long time today working through setting up a Keybase profile. I am deeply intrigued by the web-of-trust concept. This is one of the things that attracted me to the Micro.blog platform.


I salute you, web designers. Trying to make my little one-page web site look the same on more than any two browsers was a lesson in compromise.

Reworked the landing page on my vanity domain, hjalmer.com. I probably think this song is about me.

When You Let Your Text Stand Alone

I just learned Brutalist Web Design is a thing. I get a kick out of it. The tenets remind me of reading the work of Jakob Nielson in the late 90s. I encountered the link above last night on my phone. It was glorious. But I’m feeling less Brutalism and more Bauhaus.
